2018 Suzuki SV650

The SV650 features a high-strength steel trellis frame for a lightweight and agile feel. It is equipped with a 41mm conventional front fork and a link-type rear shock, both with adjustable preload, contributing to a comfortable and responsive ride. The bike rolls on five-spoke cast-aluminum-alloy wheels fitted with Dunlop Road Smart III radial tires. Stopping power comes from dual 290mm front disc brakes with two-piston Tokico calipers and a single 240mm rear disc with a single-piston caliper. An Antilock Braking System (ABS) was an available option on the SV650 ABS model. 

The SV650’s design includes slim bodywork, a comfortable seat with integrated cargo loops, and a compact full LCD instrument cluster displaying various riding data. Tubular handlebars and mid-set foot controls provide a balanced riding position. The motorcycle features a round multi-reflector halogen headlight and an LED combination tail and brake light. Color options for 2018 included a Blue/White scheme and a Black scheme with a red trellis frame. 

Suzuki offered various accessories such as a tuck roll seat, tank grips, frame sliders, and luggage options like top cases and tank bags. A wide range of aftermarket parts was also available.
